From the reviews
Our August wedding at White Raven was everything we imagined and more. We rented the venue for an entire weekend and the accommodations for 4 nights for our Saturday wedding. The venue was STUNNING - the ceremony sites and the reception hall - I cannot even describe it with words.
As photographers, we see a LOT of Montana wedding venues, but White Raven is by far our favorite! Every time we get to photograph a wedding there, we do the happy dance! The mountain views and modern aesthetic of the reception space is truly the only one like it in the state.
White Raven is hands down the best venue in Montana! The spaces, grounds, and views are absolutely STUNNING. Ashlie and Ryan (the owners) built and decorated the entire venue themselves, and you can tell because the amount of attention and detail that has gone into every little thing is unreal.
We had our wedding celebration at the end of May at The White Raven. Being from California people wondered why we would go all the way to Montana for a wedding, but once they saw the beautiful venue they understood!
Getting married at White Raven Venue & Retreat
White Raven Venue & Retreat comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
