I absolutely adore all things old house, but did you know you could have your wedding here? Their bride room is absolutely gorgeous 😍. And there was a ton of old architecture to enjoy. Plan on about an hour.
Went to a wedding here. Very nice venue. Plenty of room to accommodate a large group, but also nice for an intimate small occasion.
Great little venue for small weddings and parties. Love the West Texas atmosphere. Sounds from traffic are sometimes a distraction.
The White-Pool house is the first house built and oldest surviving structure in Odessa, TX. It's a red brick Victorian farmhouse. We went on the free tour. We enjoyed learning about the White and Pool families and the history of the home and grounds.
Getting married at White-Pool House
White-Pool House comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
