From the reviews
This is a BEAUTIFUL brand-new facility. Well worth the look and consideration. We've been out several times and each time Kurtis has made himself more than available. Very responsive via email or text message. Always such a pleasure to work with.
We toured this venue among a lot of others in the area to find one that fit our needs. The inside is stunning with the chandeliers and very open layout. We're excited to plan our event here knowing there's plenty of room for all our guest.
We just booked our wedding at White Knot Barn and are so excited! The huge windows, modern barn feel, and thought out layout won us over instantly. The process easy and stress-free—can’t wait for our big day here!
Very elegant setting for an outdoor wedding. The lake was a very beautiful backdrop. Plenty of space inside for the reception. Kept temperature very even even on a hot day. Not far from Des Moines or Indianola.
Getting married at White Knot Barn
White Knot Barn comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
