From the reviews
The farm house at Whiskey Ridge was originally my maternal grandparents home from the 1960s on until it was turned into an event space by the current owner. My Granny (maternal grandmother) hosted countless gatherings, birthdays, and anniversaries at our family farm.
We had an amazing time. We highly recommend this venue. Brittney was easy and awesome to work with. We took her recommendations on the DJ and the Catering and it was Super such an amazing time. I have so much good things to say this is a A+ top-notch place. This is so good for our City, our County and STATE.
One of the best parts of the wedding planning process! The venue manager was wonderful to work with! Beautiful venue, beautiful scenery and a wonderful house for our wedding party to enjoy! There were so many beautiful photo opportunities even on a rainy wedding day we were able to utilize beautiful covered spaces.
I have not been here YET. But I have loved this place since I was a little girl growing up in Tongie. I am so glad this place has been preserved and well taken care of and is now this gorgeous venue. It’s a timeless classic!
Getting married at Whiskey Ridge
Whiskey Ridge comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
Corporate events & private parties at Whiskey Ridge
Reviews and the venue's own info mention corporate events, retreats, or private parties at Whiskey Ridge — barn venues often have real weekday availability since weddings claim the weekends. A quick call answers the three things that matter: weekday and off-season rates, whether the space works for your headcount and A/V needs, and what catering is allowed. If your event lands on a Friday or Saturday in wedding season, ask early.
