From the reviews
I photographed a wedding at Weddings at the Homestead, and it was a truly beautiful venue for it. The owners were so kind and even drove myself, the bride + groom, and their bridal party down to a location on the property that they recommended.
We celebrated my daughter's wedding Saturday and the setting could not have been more beautiful. It is a wonderful family owned property with so many photo opportunities. The bridal suite is set up perfectly for the girls to get ready.
I had my wedding in September of this year. I had planned for the wedding to be at a different venue, but due to COVID that ended up falling through ONE MONTH before the wedding date.
Weddings are meant to be an intement experience that you will cherish forever, not stressful and overwhelming. Jeff and Heather Michel's Weddings at the Homestead venue did just that. Our family was able to create a dream wedding that looked like a million bucks, but didn't cost a million bucks!
Getting married at Weddings at the Homestead
Weddings at the Homestead comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
