Our wedding weekend could not have been more perfect!! Rob and Bev are phenomenal hosts with a great sense of humor. We stayed for the weekend with our wedding party, and everyone loved their bedroom! Each of the 10 rooms are unique and wonderfully decorated, and the whole house gives off wonderfully cozy vibes.
I have nothing but fantastic things to say about the Victorian Veranda Country Inn. I am the social chair for my sorority and we had our semi-formal here and it was everything I could've imagined and more! Robert and his wife were very flexible and accommodating and went above and beyond to meet our needs.
My husband and I had our five year wedding vow renewal at the veranda venue last weekend. It couldn’t have been more perfect. Amber and Josh were the best hosts from every little detail to make our cancelled Covid weeding in 2020 dreams come true. They were so helpful and attentive to what we needed.
I cannot speak to the house, only the event venue. It is nice and cute, but the railroad tie "flooring" on the patio could be a serious detriment to those less stable on their feet. The seating/eating setup was awkward as we were seated upstairs, then sent down for our food, then back up to eat it.
Getting married at Veranda Venue

First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
