From the reviews
My husband and I chose the veranda for our 70's party, and we had a blast. Mr. Steve was nice, professional, easy to work with, and will make sure you get what you need for your event. The place is to to its self, quiet, clean, a nice pond with a water front with lights at, our guests loved it!
Very nice place! My daughter had her wedding there and it was perfect. Lovely outdoor deck area, nice sized area inside for the reception. Was a great experience.
Went to a wedding at this place, quiet, peaceful and a great place to stage an event. Conveniently located just off Highway 6.
It has been a few years since our graduation event but I wanted to be sure to write this even so. The Porter's were easy to work with to sort of customize our event. A basically one gathering room with accessory use areas that has a nice rustic feel overlooking a pond with a large deck.
Getting married at Veranda
Veranda comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
Corporate events & private parties at Veranda
Reviews and the venue's own info mention corporate events, retreats, or private parties at Veranda — barn venues often have real weekday availability since weddings claim the weekends. A quick call answers the three things that matter: weekday and off-season rates, whether the space works for your headcount and A/V needs, and what catering is allowed. If your event lands on a Friday or Saturday in wedding season, ask early.
