Just had my wedding on 10/26/2024. We’re about 2 1/2 hours away and I happened to find the venue due to looking for a place that would let me bring food trucks onto the property. We toured a couple closer by, they weren’t our vibe and were lacking major things that we knew we wanted.
Wow. There aren't enough words to describe how perfect our wedding day was. The venue was prepared, beautiful, and worked with all of our ideas. Hannah was an angel and was willing to help whenever needed, with whatever project we asked.
I can't say enough amazing things about Vanderwende Acres and their team. They made our day so special and went out of their way to make sure we were happy and felt comfortable. I will always recommend this venue to any couple moving forward! It was such a beautiful venue and met every expectation we had.

Getting married at Vanderwende Acres

First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
