From the reviews
Got married at Thompson ridge view farm on 6/14/25 and it was absolutely beautiful. The property is gorgeous with ceremony space overlooking the ridge and cocktail space and reception barn was super charming with string lights. The bridal cottage on site made getting ready a breeze.
It was a cool experience as we were there for a wedding reception so the venue is still an actual farm so bring your bug spray to keep the flies away. The reception was nice within the big barn and the silos gave it a Magnolia feel.
I had the privilege of attending a very special wedding here this past Saturday. The views are amazing! The barn is beautiful and more than spacious enough for a very large wedding. They had solo stoves outside on the patio which gave plenty of heat and no smoke from the wood. This is an outstanding venue for weddings!
If you are looking for a barn wedding this is your place. When we walked in I was totally impressed how clean it was. The views are beautiful. They helped us with every aspect of our party. I even invited them to come because they are very warm and welcoming.
Getting married at Thompson Ridge View Farm
Thompson Ridge View Farm comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
