Another Fantastic show at The Word Barn last night, 6/16. The venue is seriously the best outdoor concert space in NH! If you go, order the bowls when you get your tickets :) The folks who make this place their home, make you feel like family. Go, for your own good ❤️
My new favorite place! The Word Barn has so much charm, character, and a fantastic outdoor entertainment area. This was our first time going and we will be back! Plenty of space, great music, a quaint store, Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream, booze if you want it, big wipes…everything you need!
Why I love the Word Barn and everything about, Ben, Sarah & kids? They all create such a welcoming vibe from arrival, parking, merch table, seat cushions, beverages and cider donuts, artistic posters, shirts, cards from local artists. The intimate gathering to surround musicians, its all a grand experience.
This place is an absolute gem. Wonderful music whether listening in the barn or sitting in the meadow. Hosts could not be nicer or more appreciative of their clientele coming into this special space they have created. It is truly a family affair and a labor of love!!
Getting married at The Word Barn
The Word Barn comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
