I cannot say enough good things about The Wedding Retreat in Plant City! From start to finish, their team went above and beyond to make our wedding day absolutely perfect.
I got married on 10.12.2024, 3 days after Hurricane Milton hit. Milton caused a lot of problems. Half our guest list cancelled, our rehearsal and rehearsal dinner got cancelled (for safety), the entire Plant City area was without power, the list goes on of things that went wrong.
A Perfect Wedding Day Thanks to an Incredible Team I just had the most amazing wedding weekend, and I wanted to take a moment to express how grateful I am for the incredible team that made everything come together seamlessly. From the very start, I was blown away by how well-coordinated and efficient everyone was.

First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
