From the reviews
The Venue at Whistlejacket Farms a beautiful venue with great family roots. The owners, Laura High and Ralph Manning, have done an excellent job of maintaining the property with care, making it a magical place to have an event. It has a rustic elegance in a picturesque setting -- a true gem!
I've had a great time attending several events at The Venue at Whistlejacket Farm. Plus the fishing was excellent!
We attended a wedding, its very beautiful location away from the city. The only thing I would say is they need a sidewalk to get to the bathroom, banquet hall and if you’re getting married by the pond a sidewalk to walk down, other than those few things it’s absolutely beautiful.
Awesome venue in a beautiful, pastoral setting! I’ve been here several times for events and just soaked up the serenity of the surroundings each time. Great facilities for a wedding or private party. And the new guest rooms are gorgeous!
Getting married at The Venue at Whistlejacket Farm
The Venue at Whistlejacket Farm comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
