Our wedding took place on September 28, 2024 — just two days after Hurricane Helene made landfall, bringing catastrophic and unprecedented flooding to the St. Petersburg area. On September 27, the DAY BEFORE our wedding, we learned that our original venue had been destroyed.
It has taken me a few days to find the right words to express just how grateful I am to Holly & Robbie at Hidden Acres. Hidden Acres wasn’t our first choice initially, as the barn was being rebuilt.
