We rented the Lounge and Runway area for our wedding reception. The venue itself was beautiful and perfect for our group. From the initial tour, to the night of the event, the staff at the The Thoroughbred Center provided top notch service. Amy was great at assisting us with planning and setting up the event.
We had an amazing wedding at the Thoroughbred Center! We went in to decorate only to find that they had done the vast majority of it and had done so beautifully. All of the staff, from the bartenders to the security were fantastic. However, Emily was truly amazing.
The perfect venue for our wedding! Emily was a dream to work with and allowed us to make the day exactly what we wanted it to be. From our first visit we were blown away, and couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. We had the perfect weekend- thank you!!!
My son just had his wedding here and it was wonderful! The event coordinator, Emily, was very attentive and helpful. We had several events over 2 days. She not only made sure we had what we asked for, but also saw other details that we needed and made sure they were taken care of. All of the staff was amazing.
Getting married at The Thoroughbred Center
The Thoroughbred Center comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
