We went to a public Halloween dance and were so delighted with the experience! The owners were so very nice and treated my daughter like a queen. The barn in the perfect location for dances, wedding, or other events. I have never seen the level of craftsmanship in an event barn as I saw in this place.
If you are using GPS directions, it will take you the wrong way. do NOT turn on the road Chandler Way off of Sugar Creek. The Wedding barn is located on the left BEFORE Chandler Way. Chandler Way is a private driveway.
Best kept secret in Kentucky! This amazing venue is tucked away in Garrard County just minutes from Lexington, Nicholasville, Richmond, Danville, & Stanford. I realized I had left a review on Facebook but not Google. My daughter was married at this venue on October 31, 2020. We booked before the bathrooms were built but had faith it would all be done in time for the wedding. We were not disappointed. Everything was beautiful!
Getting married at The Salisbury Barn
The Salisbury Barn comes up for weddings, going by their listing and couples’ reviews. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
