The setting
“Lots of great times spent there; concerts are amazing, sound quality is great (huge compliments to the local guys that run the sound system), and the historic side was amazing.”
From the reviews
Nice atmosphere and venue for music. Whoever does the sound board and engineering does a great job- not overpowering and wonderful acoustics.
Saw Allison Russell perform here and was blown away by both the venue itself and the people who run it. The concert was held picnic style; we brought wine and lawn chairs. It felt like the NJ version of Stars Hollow. Seemed very accepting \ lgbtq+ friendly. Can't wait to go again.
We went to the Christian Lopez Band show. He was phenomenal. He is a much bigger act now than would normally play for such a small venue. You could tell he was there because it was a special place for him.
Attended a concert by Alison Russell. Not only was the performer among the best I've seen but the whole event was beautifully the organized. The venue could not have been better for a medium sized concert.
Getting married at The Ross Farm
The Ross Farm comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
