I recently stayed at The Ranch at Laguna Beach and my only regret is that I didn't have more time! This property is an incredible find—it feels like a lush, hidden oasis nestled right in the canyon, yet it’s conveniently located just across the street from the beach.
Lovely stay at the Ranch at Laguna. We really appreciated the full service but relaxed vibe, well appointed room with comfortable bed and bedding, awesome shower with great water pressure - everything really well done.

A truly special place with exceptional service. It isn’t inexpensive, but it is absolutely worth it for the one-of-a-kind wilderness experience—just across the street from the ocean. The rooms are beautiful, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed with modern amenities. And free parking was such a welcome bonus.
Getting married at The Ranch at Laguna Beach
The Ranch at Laguna Beach comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
