The Providence Cotton Mill is the most unique wedding venue and the best part is the indoor, outdoor feel without having to worry about weather since you are covered. We got married June 3rd and rented the fans, everyone felt great inside! The mill is so unique and sets the atmosphere for your big day!
The Providence Cotton Mill is easily my favorite venue to shoot at on the east coast! From engagements, to bridals, to styled shoots, and weddings, I've done it all there and the gorgeous architecture and beautiful nature backdrop, always help produce the best images.
Absolutely gorgeous event venue. A little hot for the wedding ceremony and cocktail party in the adjacent lawn and patio, but they had fans on the patio, which helped. The actual Mill area is open with no windows (although the kitchen, dressing rooms, restrooms and vendor set up areas are air conditioned).
If we could do it over again, we would do it the same! The Providence Cotton Mill was a DREAM! Our friends and family are still talking about how gorgeous our wedding was BECAUSE of the venue! It is unique, beautiful, and the perfect place for your special day.
Getting married at The Providence Cotton Mill

First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
