From the reviews
The Point at Sand Beach is one of the most beautiful venues in Central New York. It is owned by Beth and Sean Lattimore who take pride in every event they hold there, and will be personally involved in making your experience perfect in every way.
My husband and I recently held our wedding at The Point and it was wonderful! The venue was beautiful, the staff was kind and helpful, and the food was delicious. Chris, the wedding coordinator, was amazing! She helped us throughout the entire process. Thank you for helping make our day so special!
Very beautiful inside and out! I'd love to tour the whole place as I'm sure history is interesting! They treated the parents and students well. I'd recommend it!
Getting married at The Point at Sand Beach
The Point at Sand Beach comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
Corporate events & private parties at The Point at Sand Beach
Reviews and the venue's own info mention corporate events, retreats, or private parties at The Point at Sand Beach — barn venues often have real weekday availability since weddings claim the weekends. A quick call answers the three things that matter: weekday and off-season rates, whether the space works for your headcount and A/V needs, and what catering is allowed. If your event lands on a Friday or Saturday in wedding season, ask early.
