From the reviews
On June 28, 2024, my husband and I had our wedding at Pickwick Place. The decorations I didn’t rent from Pickwick, I crafted myself. Luckily, they are located right around the corner from my house, so I didn’t have to tote them far! For that reason alone Pickwick seemed like the perfect venue for us.
Pickwick Place is a wedding venue that just makes sense—for couples, guests, and vendors alike. We’ve documented a handful of weddings here, and it’s always a smooth experience. The ceremony typically takes place in the charming on-site chapel.
This is a cute little spot with a lot of options. My friend introduced me last year on our way to Lakeside as a fun place to stop for lunch. They have good food and coffee. This year one of the daily specials was a Pickle Fried Chicken sandwich and it was delicious!
This is an awesome place! The Cafe food is always top notch and specials are always good! The Market has so many great things, from the fresh fruit, veggies, home baked goods to lots of interesting foods from jams to salty snacks and candy. Try their fresh slushes! The Loft is such a great party/wedding venue!
Getting married at The Pickwick Place
The Pickwick Place comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
