I’ve had the pleasure of photographing here on a couple of occasions and I am blown away by how beautiful it is! But not only that, the owner has thought of everything you will need to have your wedding go smoothly and has provided lovely covered areas, a getting ready area and even a sweet little bar nook.
We had an absolutely amazing experience at The Orchard. We ended up here after a string of bad luck due to COVID that led to us turning a large indoor wedding in Portland into a small elopement. We were connected with Molly in mid-June and she was able to help us get everything together for a July 31st event.
My husband and I feel so fortunate to have had our wedding at the Orchard. From the beautiful landscaping, to the breathtaking views of Mt. Hood and Mt. Adams, to the well-designed, elegant barn and overhead twinkle lights... this venue is just magical!!
Leah and Keaton’s wedding at The Orchard in Hood River was honestly such a dream to photograph. If you’ve never been to this venue, it’s tucked right into the Columbia River Gorge with the most insane views of Mt. Hood and rows of fruit trees that feel straight out of a movie.
Getting married at The Orchard
The Orchard comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
