My fiancé and I have our wedding planned for late October and have had nothing but great experiences with Sharon and Warren. They have been extremely helpful and accommodating, we absolutely can't wait for them to host our reception! They have turned these grounds into a beautiful venue worthy of any wedding.
If you want a barn themed wedding please consider the old porch!! Beautiful venue with amazing owners and the best staff! This place only continues to grow and improve. Cannot say enough about how amazing this venue is and it’ll bring all your dreams of a barn wedding to life!!
The day of our appointment to look around the venue, I didn’t wanna go. I was tired from work and really didn’t wanna make the 40 minute drive out to Ionia. My husband insisted that we go though, and so reluctantly, I went. Until I got there. I fell in love with the venue even before the tour began.

First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge.
