We had the BEST experience having our wedding August, 2021 at the Old Scott Barn. The view was beautiful, the barn was outstanding, and the bar space downstairs was sooo much fun! We had about 115 people at our wedding and there was plenty of space for the ceremony and reception. Martin was great to work with as well!
As a wedding photographer, The Old Scott’s Barn is one of those venues that truly feels like Vermont — rustic charm, breathtaking views, and a warm, down-to-earth atmosphere that makes every celebration feel personal and relaxed. The barn itself is full of character.
We had my parents reception after their memorial service at the Scott Barn. The owner Martin is very accommodating and the place is just perfect. The barn has the classic country setting with plenty of room and they have done a wonderful job restoring the property.
Old Scott Barn hosted Our school for prom this year and it was amazing ! The venue is turn key gorgeous, the views are out of this world and the service Martin provides is so genuine and thoughtful. I am excited to know about this space and cannot wait to host many celebrations and events here! Thanks Martin!
Getting married at The Old Scott Barn

First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge.
