I first saw the Oak advertised on Facebook a few weeks before we got engaged. I knew we had to see it! After we got engaged it was the first tour we scheduled. They responded to our inquiry right away and we had a tour the following week. Words do not do The Oak justice. It is breathtaking!

I was married in October and I could not have imagined a better place than the Oak at Millsite Farm. The first time I saw the stunning oak tree I instantly fell in love and knew this was the place I wanted to get married. Everything was so beautiful and the best part is everything was stress free.
The Oak at Millsite Farm was the perfect place to have our wedding, and we could not be happier with how everything went! We first visited the property in December, a time when Ohio is not very colorful. That did not stop us from immediately knowing that this venue was going to be gorgeous in July.

First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
