From the reviews
My wife and I got married here, it's a nice new rustic venue located in an beautiful lake front area. Now we did have to get creative with rearranging the ceremony into the banquet and dance part of our wedding, despite that we were able to comfortably accommodate 80 guests and staff.
Whoa! Its a beautiful place to have an event! Highly recommend looking into this if you are holding a reception or anything else. Lots of space and a beautiful outdoor location as well.
This is a great venue for events. We had our son's wedding reception here and it went very well. See my pictures to see how we decorated it.
This place is very beautiful. I just wish it was set up better. They have an elevator for those in wheelchairs but the thing is very hard to use and slow as molasses. It would have been nice if an actual elevator was put in to bring heavy items up and for those those that need it. There is also no AC that I could feel.
Getting married at The Mill on Lake Stevens
The Mill on Lake Stevens comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
Corporate events & private parties at The Mill on Lake Stevens
Reviews and the venue's own info mention corporate events, retreats, or private parties at The Mill on Lake Stevens — barn venues often have real weekday availability since weddings claim the weekends. A quick call answers the three things that matter: weekday and off-season rates, whether the space works for your headcount and A/V needs, and what catering is allowed. If your event lands on a Friday or Saturday in wedding season, ask early.
