From the reviews
OMG I drove in from Houston for a night of bingo. This is not your normal little old blue haired lady bingo. I’m so glad I stayed for the music bingo! We rocked out to the best of the 80’s, kicked up our boots to some country, and some newer stuff from 2010s.
Looks like an abandoned building on the outside, but all you have to do is to step inside to be transported into a world of rustic beauty and industrial chic. A fantastic event center. Great food. Friendly staff. Above and beyond.
I am a local business owner in town and know good service when I see it! That is the experience you will have a The Mill. They are very responsive, and bend over backwards to make sure you are being taken care of!
I’ve been to the Mill many times including steak night, dance parties, and most recently music Bingo and this place is definitely a gem! Abilene is lucky to have a venue that offers so many events as well as a great place to gather friends!
Getting married at The Mill Event Venue
The Mill Event Venue comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
