From the reviews
The facility is very nice and unique with a crazy number of photo opportunities all around the property. No photo booth or backdrop needed! The lighting in the barn is great for a night event and adjustable to your needs (minimal ambiance lighting, moderate, or super bright). Kid friendly play areas. Dressing rooms.
This venue is amazing! We had our family reunion here, plenty of shaded seating and open space. Wild West Town vibes make it a fun place for any event. The McGuire Barn would also be a unique opportunity for photographers.
We absolutely love this place! We have hosted a gender reveal, attended a wedding and a baby shower, and done family photos here. The barn gets better and better every time we come and we have fallen in love with Clay and Kelly! They always make sure we have a great experience.
The Barn is such a unique and charming place! There’s plenty of space for large groups to gather and enjoy a meal, and the property itself is fun to explore. We loved walking around and checking out the train displays, museum, and all the touches of western life throughout. Definitely worth a visit!
Getting married at The McGuire Barn
The McGuire Barn comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
Corporate events & private parties at The McGuire Barn
Reviews and the venue's own info mention corporate events, retreats, or private parties at The McGuire Barn — barn venues often have real weekday availability since weddings claim the weekends. A quick call answers the three things that matter: weekday and off-season rates, whether the space works for your headcount and A/V needs, and what catering is allowed. If your event lands on a Friday or Saturday in wedding season, ask early.
