I love Pelican at the Lakes for a wedding venue! From the getting ready areas to the bridge being perfect for a horse drawn carriage to the tent and the beach area on the lake for photos at sunset. It has so many amazing places to take photos that you get diverse looking photos.
Here for the formula one boat races. The island and lake is very nice and a great venue location with beaches, smokers, a chapel area, and other event amenities. Great time! Will be back. The Pelican Lake staff is awesome too - very friendly and good catered food.

First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception.
