From the reviews
Last year we got married at the Old Barn Inn at the Inns at St. Albans. Overall the day went along very well, but there were specific items that we paid for that they didn’t do which frustrated me greatly.
On July 15th, 2017 our daughter got married at the Old Barn Inn...we rented the place in 2015 and it is more beautiful that I remembered. My husband and I reserved the cottages as well as the pavillion for the reception and the area for the ceremony. Datra was amazing.
I will only speak to the food, and Chef Ted is truly deserving to be executive chef. We had a 5 course dinner at the Old Barn Inn with wine pairing, and the food and drinks were wonderful. I'd never had escargots served in-shell!
This review for THE LODGE, King Suite, first floor. (They have several other lodgings close by.) These people understand “peaceful.” Quiet, tasteful small inn of 12 rooms. Booked same day. Says call BEFORE booking if you can’t check in by 5:00 (we couldn’t.
Getting married at The Inns at St. Albans
The Inns at St. Albans comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
Corporate events & private parties at The Inns at St. Albans
Reviews and the venue's own info mention corporate events, retreats, or private parties at The Inns at St. Albans — barn venues often have real weekday availability since weddings claim the weekends. A quick call answers the three things that matter: weekday and off-season rates, whether the space works for your headcount and A/V needs, and what catering is allowed. If your event lands on a Friday or Saturday in wedding season, ask early.
