From the reviews
My husband, my newborn, and I just had the most amazing two day staycation at the Historic Hill House & Farm. We came to celebrate four events all within a month: the birth of our second baby (a girl), our 14th year anniversary, my birthday, and my husband’s birthday.
We were blown away from the quality of this venue for our son's wedding. The beautiful rooms with added thoughtful touches from smores ready to roast, hot tea served to our room at night and room touch ups every day, the gourmet food and the attentiveness of the staff. It was absolutely exceptional.
Absolutely love this place. Stayed in the Yurt this last visit. Was my 3rd trip back. The grounds and design in all the buildings and the barn is gorgeous. They have added a couple new cows to the farm. Drinks were delish and the ambience at the bar is fabulous.
We went for a full weekend with another couple to celebrate our 16th anniversary and enjoyed every minute of our time at Hill House. We stayed in the Revere room in the original home. Starting with our check in experience- upon checking in we were served with bar nuts and a lemon lavender spritzer.
Getting married at The Historic Hill House and Farm
The Historic Hill House and Farm comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
Corporate events & private parties at The Historic Hill House and Farm
Reviews and the venue's own info mention corporate events, retreats, or private parties at The Historic Hill House and Farm — barn venues often have real weekday availability since weddings claim the weekends. A quick call answers the three things that matter: weekday and off-season rates, whether the space works for your headcount and A/V needs, and what catering is allowed. If your event lands on a Friday or Saturday in wedding season, ask early.
