From the reviews
This venue is amazing and the staff was amazing! I wasn’t so sure about it the day before during the rehearsal event. It’s a little trek off the main hwy on a gravel road, it was cold and windy for an August wedding. My daughter had visited in April. Fortunately, after the ceremony festivities continued indoors.
My husband and I got married at The Haven in August 2023 and it could not have been a more wonderful experience. I would highly recommend The Haven for any couple who loves the beauty of the Bay Area. The property is unbelievably beautiful and Mandy was a joy to work with.
Me and my now wife had our wedding here this last October and it was beautiful. The property itself is gorgeous with rolling green hills all around and a beautiful forest that has this cool history related to the property.
We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding venue than The Haven at Tomales. It truly checked every box on our list and then some. The setting is absolutely breathtaking, from the rolling hills and towering eucalyptus trees to the golden magic hour light that made our photos look straight out of a dream.
Getting married at The Haven at Tomales
The Haven at Tomales comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
