Our wedding at the Grand Belle was everything we could have asked for! The staff on site were great and the venue is super cute. We looked at other barn venues but what sold us on this one was the fact that it had proper facilities (actual nice bathrooms inside) and air-conditioning.
Trendy, rustic barn, great for a medium size wedding and party. Wedding was on the lawn, food catered in. I met the owner, she was really nice. Highly recommended if you’re looking down state Michigan.
As a vendor (Owners of Miller’s Vintage Shabby Chic Event Rentals, LLC) we have styled and staged many venues, and I have to say, very few come even close to the impressive upscale beauty and elegance of the Grand Belle.
We hosted our daughter and son in law's wedding here yesterday and our experience was FANTASTIC. The owners are very accommodating and assisted with our every need. The bridal suite for the girls wedding day preparation worked out great.
Getting married at The Grand Belle
The Grand Belle comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
