Wow. Where to even begin? My husband and I got married at The Foxglove Farm on 8.26.23 and it will forever be our favorite day. The vision, the moments, the details, the love that this family has put into this space... EVERY LITTLE THING was more than we could ask for. We want to relive that day over and over.
I can’t even begin to put into words how much we truly loved our wedding at the Foxglove Farm. Kelsey and her family went above and beyond to make sure that our wedding was everything we wanted it to be.
We are completely impressed by this venue and all the thoughtful ways they have set the paces unto be accommodating to other vendors. We are a catering company and from the moment we arrived for our site visit Kelsey the venue manager made us feel welcome and supported.
The Foxglove Farm is by far one of the most special venues in Northern Michigan, if not all of Michigan. The Barnes family took such care and gave deep consideration to the property's history and how it could best serve their clients & community when restoring the barn and planning out the space.
Getting married at The Foxglove Farm
The Foxglove Farm comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
