We celebrated our daughter’s wedding this past November and we could not be more please with the venue. The owners are very helpful and friendly. The day of the wedding was a total rollercoaster because the weather turned out to be to cold and rainy. We had a big tent set up which looked beautiful.

Michelle & Paul have a magical setting in the heart of Currituck County- A Sportman's Paradise! They welcomed our family with open arms for a family photo shoot. And though the venue was in off-season for weddings, Michelle showed us all the best spots to capture our family photos.
The Flyway Lodge.... WOW! My wife and I had literally the most magical wedding at the Flyway this past Saturday. I don't even know where to start... From the beginning, my wife and I toured the grounds with Michelle. We left the Flyway Lodge ready to get it reserved and scheduled.

The Flyway Lodge comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
