From the reviews
We recently visited The Farm at South Mountain and had an amazing experience from start to finish. The weather was perfect, which made the experience even better since we were able to sit and dine outside in the beautiful courtyard area.
First time here at this hidden gem. The food here at the two restaurants is excellent. It's also one of the best outdoor wedding venues. Plus they have chickens and other farm animals. A must see that I think fre people in Phoenix are aware of it.
Food was delicious. They don't have a lot to choose from but the Italian sandwich was great and the Tuscan Soup was amazing. I had a mimosa and it was a bit small for the price. Overall it was good, I don't know if I would come back but to try it just once it was nice.
What an amazing experience!!! Our grandparents took us to The Farm when came for a visit from Colorado & we fell in love!! The food is amazing, the service is incredible & the atmosphere is wonderful! You can take a walk through the farm and see the veggies being grown for the amazing food you get to eat right there!
Getting married at The Farm at South Mountain
The Farm at South Mountain comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
Corporate events & private parties at The Farm at South Mountain
Reviews and the venue's own info mention corporate events, retreats, or private parties at The Farm at South Mountain — barn venues often have real weekday availability since weddings claim the weekends. A quick call answers the three things that matter: weekday and off-season rates, whether the space works for your headcount and A/V needs, and what catering is allowed. If your event lands on a Friday or Saturday in wedding season, ask early.
