From the reviews
Great quaint, cozy Cidery. Delicious ciders and wines! Unusual flavors. Indoor and outdoor seating. Some of the outdoor seating is covered. Charcuterie boards are available which were very good. We had the cider flights with 4 different flavors to sample. Plenty of parking.
All I can really say is WOW! This spot is a true gem of the panhandle. The owners are as friendly as you can imagine and the care they are taking in their products is very evident from the time you park. This is as close to farm to table as you will get. See the grapes they grow for their wine right on the property.
Talented hospitable family owned and operated Winery, with Ciders, Meads and Bites for food. Nice tasting room and grounds to relax in. Excellent venue for weddings and events. Weekend Music. Ciders & Meads available in cans and wines in bottles to purchase.
A truly lovely location that would be easy to miss as it's a mile down a gravel county road. But definitely worth a visit for their large variety of delicious ciders (not just apple, but also varieties like margarita, pineapple, raspberry and mango habanero!). The young couple that own Papa Moon are wonderful hosts.
Getting married at The Farm at Papa Moon
The Farm at Papa Moon comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
