Wow! What an experience. Just helped with a wedding shower for some friends at The Farm at New Gilead. Its a beautiful place with a grass field and a pond out front. Inside is heated and sort of country cute. The owner met us the night before to let us start setting up.

Beautiful location to have a event or wedding! We had our work Christmas party here and the hosts were very attentive to guests needs and the venue was very affordable.
This place is unique! We loved having our event there. Everything we needed was there and very comfortable. Outdoor covered areas were very nice as well. They took good care of us and were very helpful. Great country atmosphere! We would totally recommend! Elsie and Matt!
Getting married at The Farm At New Gilead
The Farm At New Gilead comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
