I got married here, and the owner [jessica] was so sweet and understanding when I had to move my wedding due to my husband joining the navy, I can't see why anyone would say her or her husband were difficult. They were so very nice...
Everything about my experience with The Country Mile venue was incredible. The owners were so kind and welcoming. They went above and beyond to ensure I had all that I need for my day to be perfect. They are very clear about what they expect, and it was so easy to comply.
Barn Style Wedding Venue. Barn on the outside. Cozy country luxury on the inside. No smelly farm animals smells in the air like other barn wedding venues like this. Main guests seating and stage platform are a bit on the small side.
The best wedding weekend (Hite Wedding 10/24/2020) any bride could ever dream of and want. I can’t say enough good things about Mr.and Mrs. Terry Tillman Jr. The owners of the venue care, are compassionate and will listen to any bride/grooms dream for a spectacular wedding. Communication was on point!
Getting married at The Country Mile
The Country Mile comes up for weddings, going by their listing and couples’ reviews. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
