From the reviews
My daughter's wedding was held here this last weekend. Ashlee and team did an incredible job taking care of our family, coordinating the details with all our vendors, making sure everything went off without a hitch so we could just enjoy the day. The atmosphere was cozy and comfortable.
We had our wedding at The Bur Oak in October. It was absolutely perfect! Jenny was amazing and so responsive/helpful throughout the entire process. We used the lower level for our cocktail hour and the added on bridal suite as well.
Great venue! I saw Ruin Dweller, Ossuary and Tubal Cain last week, and the sound and lighting were spectacular. I hope to go there for future shows.
Great staff. Beautiful venue. Very few better ways to spend and evening in Madison. Also attached to Ahan for an added bonus.
Getting married at The Bur Oak
The Bur Oak comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
