Bluebelle is a legitimately nice place to hold a reception and/or wedding dinner. I have DJ'd there twice now, and both times went fantastic. The staff are awesome and are accommodating, and the interior is clean and cozy. The food they make is simple and delicious, and the bar is stocked with some good stuff.
Jaimee, Tracie and the WHOLE staff at Bluebelle are absolutely amazing. After photographing several weddings out there it is evident that they are passionate about serving their clients and ensuring they have the best wedding day/event possible.
My husband and I got married at Bluebelle in November 2024 and we had a great experience. The space itself is gorgeous, and it's conveniently located within 15 minutes from hotels and things to do in Bemidji.
My spouse and I got married here in June 2023, and we can't recommend the Bluebelle enough!! The venue itself is gorgeous. Pictures and videos do not do this place justice. We had guests from all over the US and received many compliments on what a great and beautiful venue the Bluebelle is.
Getting married at The Bluebelle Event Venue

First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge.
