I had the esteemed pleasure of working with Brooke on an event where I rented the Blessing Barn. This event took place on April 30th. This is a wonderful place to rent. There are rules as with any venue. You are told about everything up front. The contract has everything in writing and you sign it.
The blessing barn is a beautiful venue used every year for Gearhead Fest car show event. It provides a great refuge from the heat on a hot summer day during our event, the owners even ride around offering our patrons free ice cold water during the event! Some of the best people you'll ever meet!
Our family has used The Blessing Barn for many of our family events. This is a beautiful venue no matter the time of year. The Bishop and Brennan families went above and beyond when rain made the location of our son's wedding ceremony impossible to use. They helped us move chairs and set up in a drier location.
This establishment has always been accommodating and fair. The site is beautiful, homey and very intimate. I have worked with this family/venue for 9 years and every time we have an event there are plenty of understandings set in place.
Getting married at The Blessing Barn Venue

First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
