From the reviews
Words alone cannot fully describe the phenomenal natural and historical experience one has while visiting the Beardslee Homestead. This one of a kind special place is a destination that takes you straight to Italy.
Visiting the Beardsley Homestead is a trip to a simpler, wonderful place in time. On its expansive and picturesque grounds, you will feel the stresses of urban life dissipate as you convene with nature.
I've had the pleasure of staying at the Beardslee Homestead several times and attended once for a wedding that was so spectacular it took me a few days to come back to reality! The Homestead offers so many activities year round.
Had a unique visit to this space after meeting the proprietor at the farmers market. They make liquors and offer venue space. Their libations are unique flavours and it was a lovely visit learning about the homestead, hop house, and creation process. A stunning location and aa most welcoming atmosphere.
Getting married at The Beardslee Homestead
The Beardslee Homestead comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
Corporate events & private parties at The Beardslee Homestead
Reviews and the venue's own info mention corporate events, retreats, or private parties at The Beardslee Homestead — barn venues often have real weekday availability since weddings claim the weekends. A quick call answers the three things that matter: weekday and off-season rates, whether the space works for your headcount and A/V needs, and what catering is allowed. If your event lands on a Friday or Saturday in wedding season, ask early.
