The Beach Barn at Lake Life Cottages is the perfect Up North destination for a wedding. We were their first wedding for the venue, in May 2024, and it couldn’t have been more perfect! The space is absolutely incredible and being right on Lake Huron is special. If you’re looking for a wedding venue, this is it.
We had our wedding at the Beach Barn venue last week, and it was wonderful! Sharon and Sheryl both went above and beyond for us, not only on the actual wedding day, but also on the days, weeks, and months leading up to it.
Sharon and her team were amazing to work with for our son's Rehearsal Dinner June 28th at the Beach Barn. The communication was very prompt each time there was a question regarding specific details. They were very accommodating with helping to set up with with our exact vision.
Getting married at The Beach Barn
The Beach Barn comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
