Amazing wedding Barn venue. Owner is a great guy and the property is perfect for weddings or other events.
Words will never express the happiness I felt on my wedding day. 9/30/2023 will be hard to beat. Not only was the venue perfect but the owner was beyond selfless. He was always around ready to assist in any way possible.
Such a wonderful Venue to have any kind of Event ! Been there for a couple of events and Doug , his wife and family have done an amazing job !!
Great venue for a variety of events- weddings, reunions, parties, more..just right outside of Wooster. Re-purposed barn with great space and scenery. I have attended several events at the Barnstone and always look forward to the setting! Great job on how you've made this a special place to celebrate events!
Getting married at The Barnstone
The Barnstone comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
Corporate events & private parties at The Barnstone
Reviews and the venue's own info mention corporate events, retreats, or private parties at The Barnstone — barn venues often have real weekday availability since weddings claim the weekends. A quick call answers the three things that matter: weekday and off-season rates, whether the space works for your headcount and A/V needs, and what catering is allowed. If your event lands on a Friday or Saturday in wedding season, ask early.
