The setting
“It is very rustic, so before you book you should tour the barn first to understand what that means - the barn has an aged look, the bathrooms are a little rough.”
Amenities couples mention
“I liked that string lights were already set up and that we could open the barn doors for easy access to bring equipment / catering in.”
“" It was a smaller venue, but it was all-inclusive, providing a comfortable ceremony space, a larger dining area, and a spacious dance floor.”
What couples say again and again
“A beautiful old red dairy barn converted over to an event hall for weddings and parties.”

From the reviews
$150 (plus $250 safety deposit) made this the most affordable place for our event. I think we were told it can hold up to 200 guests but that would be a tight fit. It has a beautiful porch where guests can also sit.
A beautiful old red dairy barn converted over to an event hall for weddings and parties. Plenty of room for yourself and two hundred guests.
We rented the barn for a reasonable rate for an anniversary/retirement party. It held our group of under 100 with space for catering tables and 5 person band comfortably. Decorating with a rustic farm theme is an obvious choice for the Barn and it turned out great.
I have been DJing professionally for more than two decades. Most of my events are in northeast Ohio, though I travel the entire state of Ohio as well as neighbor states to DJ weddings. Last night was my first time DJing in Moundsville, West Virginia. I was very impressed with The "Barn.
Getting married at The "Barn"
The "Barn" comes up for weddings, going by their listing and couples’ reviews. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
Corporate events & private parties at The "Barn"
Reviews and the venue's own info mention corporate events, retreats, or private parties at The "Barn" — barn venues often have real weekday availability since weddings claim the weekends. A quick call answers the three things that matter: weekday and off-season rates, whether the space works for your headcount and A/V needs, and what catering is allowed. If your event lands on a Friday or Saturday in wedding season, ask early.
