From the reviews
I love the barn and would recommend it to anyone planning a wedding! I was one of the unfortunate covid brides and had to push my wedding out 1 year 2 months prior. I was in touch with Danielle Green a lot she was wonderful and made everything easy; always responded quickly to my many phone calls and emails.
We had our wedding here in September 2021 and had such a great experience not only the night of our wedding, but the planning process too! The staff here were very easy to get in touch with and were able to manage the hectiness of wedding planning during a pandemic.
The Barn at Wight Farm is such a great place to have a wedding. We are fortunate to have photographed a number of weddings at the barn. The location is very convenient and the indoor ceremony space is beautiful and rustic.
I was really impressed with how this venue was able to handle multiple events on the same day and how seamless wedding I was at went. The food was very yummy and the staff were on top of things. I definitely thought this was a great experience in a beautiful environment. Many lovely memories were able to be created.
Getting married at The Barn at Wight Farm
The Barn at Wight Farm comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
Corporate events & private parties at The Barn at Wight Farm
Reviews and the venue's own info mention corporate events, retreats, or private parties at The Barn at Wight Farm — barn venues often have real weekday availability since weddings claim the weekends. A quick call answers the three things that matter: weekday and off-season rates, whether the space works for your headcount and A/V needs, and what catering is allowed. If your event lands on a Friday or Saturday in wedding season, ask early.
