As a wedding photographer who has photographed 500+ weddings, barn wedding venues are a dime-a-dozen in the Lancaster area...but there's only one The Barn at Silverstone. Seriously. Throw out all of your preconceived notions about barns because they're simply not true about this venue.
The Barn at Silverstone is an amazing wedding venue, and you should get married here! It is the best decision we made for our wedding, and I would do it all over again. We actually toured 7 venues prior that all didn't quite feel right.
Please read!! As you search for your perfect wedding venue, you may be thinking “These places are all the same, any would be a beautiful backdrop for our wedding”. This couldn’t be further from the truth. The Barn at Silverstone is UNLIKE ANY OTHER VENUE in Lancaster County.
We just got married on 10/27/23 and I truly cannot put into words how incredible Miranda and this venue is. We had endless compliments on how beautiful the grounds were. The day went perfect!! Miranda was so invested in what our vision was for our wedding and helped us make that come to life.

First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
