As a wedding planner, I’ve had the pleasure of working at many venues, and The Barn at Bee Cliff in Elizabethton, TN is truly one of my favorites. The setting is absolutely gorgeous — surrounded by stunning mountain views and the serene beauty of the river.
We just had our wedding at the barn last weekend (4/17/2021) & could not have had a better experience. If the venue itself isn’t beautiful enough right on the Watauga River, the owners Norine & John (and their dog Jake 🥰) will seal the deal for you.
Henry Griffin and I got married at The Barn at Bee Cliff on 10/25/25, and it felt absolutely magical!! The river behind us rolled so perfectly and was a beautiful touch!! And that beautiful barn—built from an old church—held so much warmth and history that you could truly feel it.
The Barn at Bee Cliff was the perfect venue for our November wedding. Norine, Holly, Patrick and John were so kind and they made sure everything was perfect for my special day . The Barn is gorgeous and and the river flowing right beside the barn creates the most beautiful backdrop for pictures.
