From the reviews
Attended the grand opening of The Abbey (formerly Chapel Creek Manor) on 8/29/18. New ownership and new management. Everything about this facility is first class, especially Billy and David (owners) give back to the community. Too bad I can only select five stars!
We had our daughter’s banquet here for cheer and it was AMAZING!! The property is stunning with so many beautiful places to take photos. The owners are wonderful and were so accommodating to all our needs and happy to help in anyway possible.
Found this gem on the knot after casting a wide net to host our small wedding for March 7th, 2026. Kathryn and her crew made sure everything ran smoothly with several last minute changes, including the rain on the big day. Thx to this beautiful venue for giving us many wonderful memories.
Beautiful venue, lots of entertainment options. Visited for a wedding, beautiful set up, the staff was phenomenal in how they interchanged and moved the event along in an elegant fashion. The food was phenomenal
Getting married at The Abbey Estate
The Abbey Estate comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
Corporate events & private parties at The Abbey Estate
Reviews and the venue's own info mention corporate events, retreats, or private parties at The Abbey Estate — barn venues often have real weekday availability since weddings claim the weekends. A quick call answers the three things that matter: weekday and off-season rates, whether the space works for your headcount and A/V needs, and what catering is allowed. If your event lands on a Friday or Saturday in wedding season, ask early.
