From the reviews
The Cedar Grove Tchoupitoulas Plantation made our wedding day absolutely perfect. Laura is phenomenal at what she does, so easy to communicate with, patient, and kind. This venue is not only stunning, but even with 200 guests still felt homey, and intimate. We had so much fun as well as all of our guests.
We’ve been meaning to write this review ever since our daughter’s wedding on May 31st, and we’re so happy to finally share our experience. From the very first day we stumbled upon this beautiful venue all the way to the wedding day itself, everything was truly a 5-star experience.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Our wedding at Cedar Grove Tchoupitoulas Plantation was truly perfect from start to finish! Laura and Patrick were absolutely outstanding—professional, warm, and completely dedicated to making our day unforgettable. When Laura said “don’t worry about a thing,” she meant it.
Choosing this venue for our wedding reception was the best decision we made! From the moment I walked in, I knew it was the perfect place. The space is absolutely beautiful, but what truly blew us away was the service. Laura, the owner, is incredibly kind, passionate, and generous.
Getting married at Tchoupitoulas Plantation at Cedar Grove
Tchoupitoulas Plantation at Cedar Grove comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
Corporate events & private parties at Tchoupitoulas Plantation at Cedar Grove
Reviews and the venue's own info mention corporate events, retreats, or private parties at Tchoupitoulas Plantation at Cedar Grove — barn venues often have real weekday availability since weddings claim the weekends. A quick call answers the three things that matter: weekday and off-season rates, whether the space works for your headcount and A/V needs, and what catering is allowed. If your event lands on a Friday or Saturday in wedding season, ask early.
